I have been working full time as a Psychologist with Provisional Registration for the past two years. In this time, I have gained almost 3000 hours of direct client therapy experience helping people just like you to manage their emotions and change their lives.
I’m very experienced at working with anxiety, depression, and anger – in males and females, adults and adolescents. I am particularly skilled and absolutely passionate at helping people overcome their fears and anxieties – I’ll be able to empower you and get you to achieve the things you never thought you’d be able to.
My vision about therapy is that it does not have to be totally serious at all times under all conditions. Your therapy journey can be an enjoyable experience. Often you and I will laugh together during sessions as we work together to achieve your goals. I like to think of myself more as your emotions coach.
I will help you by using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) – the oldest form of CBT, treatment approaches for which I have the highest certifications possible in Australia and that have been recognised by the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City. I will also use various other methods and techniques in order to achieve your therapeutic goals.
