The purpose of counselling is to enable us to experience life with greater joy and self-awareness.
My driving interest and passion for many years is providing a high level of counselling and psychotherapy to individuals who wish to increases their level of awareness of who they are, to empower them to become who they want to be. I bring great enthusiasm to my work with a high level on integrity, skill and commitment in an accepting non-judgemental and safe environment.
I provide experiential avenues for exploring health in ways which come from the edge of postmodern psychology, which embraces complementary approaches to healing the whole person.
Using a person-centred approach based on holistic, transpersonal and psychodynamic principles provides you an avenue to explore, express and experience feelings, gain insight, make meaning and integrate different aspects of self. Some of the approaches which may be offered to you are include: Hypnotherapy, Expressive Art therapies, Mindfulness, Focussing, CBT, NLP, Gestalt, and a number of other processes.
Appling a comprehensive assessment, I will work collaboratively with you to establish treatment goals for either short or long term therapy to help and support you in creating the direction and changes you want in your life.
