About me

Much of what makes us unhappy is unconscious and not easily accessed by rationalisation. I work together with people to explore aspects of their life and their feelings, and learn new ways of overcoming personal difficulties. Managing vulnerabilities, emotions and behaviours can make problems easier to understand. Sometimes only a couple of sessions to achieve self-awareness and problem-solving are needed; others may choose several sessions over an extended period of time.

Training & qualifications

Post Graduate Counselling & Human Services, La Trobe, 2000

EMDR Clinical Practitioner, 2008

Areas I specialise in

Couple issues

My session fee is $ 110.00

More Information

Counselling and psychotherapy are confidential services. You are entitled to a 20% rebate for counselling sessions when you submit your tax return if your annual out of pocket medical expenses (as an individual or family) are greater than $1500.

Private health rebates for counselling/psychotherapy are rare. Rebates are currently provided by Medibank Private (Family Essentials and Family Comprehensive Policies) and Australian Unity Health (Life Choice and Life Choice Plus policies with a referral letter from a GP).

Bayside Counselling fees are not eligible for Medicare rebates as Bayside is not a provider of Focused Psychological Strategies.
