A little something about me
My approach to counselling has been influenced by many talented and experienced therapists. It is vital developing genuine relationships with people, respecting them as unique individuals, valuing their belief systems, morals and ethics. This will enable me to gain an understanding on where they have been, where they are now and where they want to be. It is important to have unconditional positive regard to every human interaction. This will allow an empathetic exploration of one's life issues whilst assisting people to gain the ability to manage their lives and empower people to change.
Why do I practice counselling and psychotherapy?
Throughout my professional life I have always had a deep respect for people's uniqueness and individuality. I find that assisting people with their journey is deeply rewarding which gives me a further sense of purpose and meaning. I feel humble that people share their life experiences with me and be part of their self exploration. I bring sincerity, respect and warmth to the counselling session which I feel is vital in developing a connection with people.
