Welcome to Work Love and Play.
Based Melbourne Australia, I offer psychotherapy/counselling services.
My area of expertise and training are in alcohol & drug issues, death & dying issues, grief and general mental health issues that you may have such as anxiety and/or depression.
Sessions last around 55 minutes and are held in a private and comfortable setting.
There is a modest fee for service based on a sliding scale and related to personal income.
A person may find it helpful to make an initial appointment to decide together what form of help is most appropriate. Decisions about the way forward are agreed jointly between you and the therapist. Sometimes referral to another agency may be more appropriate. Most people are 5 to 10 sessions , others maybe longer but always as a mutual agreement.
Matters addressed include anxiety, stress, depression, grief, chronic illness, family, early childhood, rehabilitation, abuse, and general problem solving.
In psychotherapy, a therapist helps you to clarify issues of concern. It is not about giving advice. By respecting your choices and lifestyle, therapist aims to help you come to make choices or changes that are right for you.
