This paper addresses the challenge technology is issuing to the central tenets of therapy and psychology. With the growing numbers of people "addicted" to video games, pornography and so on, can therapists really conclude that they are all simply pathological? I offer another perspective, one that is more disturbing than the relatively easy practice of diagnosis by the "expert".
